From January 1st Saltwater Boat Angling, after seven years as an independent publication, is now published by Kelsey Media (publishers of Sea Angler). They have acquired the title to add to their portfolio of angling magazines. This move will secure the future of the magazine – after a year in which print and paper costs have rocketed and trading conditions have been very difficult following the effects of the pandemic.
The magazine will now be published bi-monthly starting with a March issue delivered at the end of February and then May, July, September and November and so on. Tim Macpherson will continue as Editor.
All current subscribers receive 12 issues of the magazine – based on their start date. The magazine will also be available more widely in on sales in retail outlets including WH Smiths, independent newsagents and selected supermarkets.
We will of course continue to deliver excellent content with an expanded team of contributors. We’ll be covering all the major boat angling festivals and events running reader more competitions and delivering more reader benefits.
Our digital channels, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram will continue as normal we will and uploading new video content on You Tube on a regular basis.
