£1250 of Snowbee tackle to be won
We now have six finalists for the Snowbee UK Charter Boat Competition after holding the draw for the final two anglers at the end of December. The lucky two drawn out on Deep Blue, the boat the final will be fished on, were Brian Bridger and Matt Osbourne.
Brian qualified aboard Gary Flint’s ‘Discovery’ out of Liverpool with a 8lb 6oz cod that proved to be the best of the day. England international Matt boated the only cod on a day out with Phil Batt, skipper of ‘Aladard’ out from Eastbourne. His fish tipped the scales at a respectable 9lbs.
The first four names drawn were Justin Yates who was fishing from Colin Bakers ‘Sally Ann Jo’ out of Weymouth. and Sean Wood who had an 8lb cod aboard Brian Kent’s ‘Panther’ out of Eastbourne, Dick Prosser with a blonde ray and and Rick Pithkethy with an impressive conger eel.
They have each won a Snowbee Charter boat rod and some Snowbee lures worth £100 and qualify for the fi nal in the Spring aboard a Snowbee sponsored boat and compete for the Snowbee Deep Blue rod and Deep Blue 10 multiplier plus tackle, worth an impressive £650 to the winner.
These six anglers will have the chance of winning a superb Snowbee Deep Blue 10 multiplier and a Deep Blue rod and lures to a value of £650.

The final is now scheduled to take place on April 27th aboard the Snowbee sponsored ‘True Blue’ skippered by Steve Porter, out from Poole. The SBA team will be on board as the final will be featured in the magazine. Russell Weston of Snowbee UK is also hoping to be with us so he can present the superb prizes he is donating. It’s likely to be fished on the drift for pollack and cod with a possibility to go for an early season turbot. The biggest fish on the day will win a superb Snowbee combo of the latest Deep Blue rod and reel, plus lures and tackle to a total value of £650.
